A Designer's Desk is a website providing guidance, awareness, and support to both high school and college students looking at design careers. Here they can learn about what design careers are out there, what those look like, and what the job entails. Then they can dive deeper on what they're interested in.
the problem
Currently high schoolers, college students, and young adults are interested in design and creative careers, but there are too many factors stopping them:
- high school student feel unprepared
- they do not recieve enough guidance about creative careers from schools
- there is too much pressure from parents
